Who We Are

In Matthew 16:18 Christ foretold the establishment of his church. We see the initial steps in places like Acts 2. We believe and proclaim that in Christ alone can we find salvation. He alone provides a path to God. (John 14:1-6; Acts 4:12) .  Our concern and goal is not to wow the world, but bring glory to God.  This only happens when we seek to be simply Christians adhering to the pattern laid down for is in the Bible.  As Jesus so clearly states in Matthew 7:21

"Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is heaven."

supremacy of scripture

In an age where many base Christian life on what they "feel" like, we do our best to adhere to the Word of God. The church of Christ appears in America during the restoration movement (though it's roots go much further back than that!) with an appeal to return to the simplicity of scripture. We are a bible believing church with a goal of being a bible shaped church. We have no illusion that we are perfect but strive to appeal to the bible in all matters of life and worship. Our greatest concern is not to impress the world but glorify God
